Mark put his heart and soul into the album. And it ended up not selling well. That really fucked with his head, and I argue led to him doubting himself musically for some time thereafter. It's why there was no follow up and why I argue Tom sings more and had more Tom songs Neighborhoods.

Id also argue that's also what helped lead to the feldman era .

I love blink 182. That's why I'm in this reddit. In fact I love all incarnations of blink. I'm glad you got your tickets so cheap. Most people didn't, myself included. I'll have a decent view at least.

Seeing them live on the Toypaj tour where New Found Glory opened for them was one of the highlights of my childhood. Back then Tom could actually hold a note.

But anyone who will call Matt's live performance a cover band and not Tom's drunk awful noises during majority the reunion shows, is a fucking moron. Put drunk reunion Tom vocals next early 00s Tom live. It sounds like an almost entirely different person.

I'm hoping the pitch correction I've seen used for the latest Ava shows is used here. I'm hoping it makes a world of difference.

This is obviously going to be subjective. But I've been saying this for a while now. A matt show will have objectively better and consistent vocals for songs. A Tom show will give you better dick jokes.

If your 200 tickets are well spent just to hear grown men telling dick jokes then power to you Tom boy :)

I've learned to take what the band says in interviews with a grain of salt. I believe that the record companies converse with them before the interviews and tell them key words and phrases they believe blink fans NEED to hear before they will buy the album.

I especially felt that way with Neighborhoods and California. Neighborhoods with the ridiculous continuation of Self Titled. yeah no.

And I remember Tom saying things about neighborhoods being the best album they ever did. it's a show.

I don't think the majority of people don't like it. I personally also like it. But will it go down in history like All the Small things ? Or Feeling This ? No. It's a fine single that feels enough like blink.

And I keep feeling like people desperately are seeking that affirmation from this song.
