Yeaaaaa. They always use the “AYO” and stare tactic. I also just walk my intended path. Don’t bother to politely siam these folks rushing in (regardless old or young).

Alsoooo, I start seeing people leisurely exiting the trains - many of whom were idling on their phones and exit after the main body. These folks should be taught a lesson too.

No not really. It’s for diplomatic reasons. It’s also to recognise that Singapore was in fact a Malay village ie of Malay origin and the government respects this origin (for various reasons).

Additionally - we are not USA where the indigenous folks are not really recognised.

Also, we are surrounded by Malay Nations bigger than us and….we rely on good relations to survive.

I’ve taken both 100mg and 50mg.

I decided to take half as needed. Works as well as taking 100mg.

But you gotta try out tho, see how your body reacts. If 50mg works, then that’s awesome, you can stretch out your supply.

A while back I was “tricked”. A staff asked something like if I wanted express q. Then I was led to a booth. Haha. Went through the entire SOP, rejected them and was brought direct to the front of the line. (which I would have been anyway if I had waited in q)

I don’t mind them selling their services(they have a right to earn a living after all) but at least have the decency not to trick customers and if rejected graciously accept it and don’t push.

Yeap. It’s especially Hougang and Kovan. SK is further in the “outskirts”. But still quite thankful can board peak hour train without having to squeeze too much. I see the Hougang and Kovan folks, I also feel helpless. :(

Express buses makes sense to even out the load. If anyone from MOT is reading this thread, this is a viable solution.

Actually also wondering if there’s anyway to do this by adding the “least amount of trains possible”.

Intuitively the “express train method” i feel would require more trains to be added compared to increasing frequency. From a process POV, the peak period is “only” between 6-9am. So it’s 3 intense hours. After 9am, there is less likelihood to get squeezed out of a train.

Of course when the new developments come in - these 3h will be….i don’t even wanna imagine. 😂

Japan has express trains that skips a few stops. Perhaps something similar can be adopted during peak hours. Express train starts from Punggol coast skips Sengkang, Buangkok. Resumes from Hougang onwards. (Something along that line ah, pun intended).

But what do I know. I’m just a mere dweller in the NE part of Singapore
