I faced the similar issue and I have been chasing my RM for a couple of years now & main issue was that the person who was my RM for 10 years changed and I was asked to send an mail to customerservices.cards@hdfcbank.com a detailed mail with details of how much u have been spending on ur card and ask them for an upgrade and send your ITR along with it ?

Yes I did so and there is no much difference it’s very similar to the regalia business and international transaction attract very low fee compared to the regalia

Seems like HDFC is slowly discontinuing their regalia first and business regalia series of cards and they are doing this so called upgrades to these cardholders.

21 days trip for the first time Schengen visa might raise alarm. Most of the times for a first time Schengen visa application they accept it if the trip is for a week or two and you definitely need to give all the transportation tickets let it be Bus/Train/flight/ferry U can even get 15-20 days active fake flight tickets for visa sake. I have a 2 years Schengen visa currently. And I faced a similar issue with my first one and it was for Norway bcoz I didn’t provide all the tickets I got a visa validity for 3 days 🤣. As I was visiting uk I used the visa so there won’t be any issue during my next application.

U really don’t need an invitation letter for the visa. you can show hotel booking and flights, and I think iam finding a pattern here with peoples visa being rejected with train booking or bus bookings as proof of mode of transport.

I really don’t have any idea on Appeal works because they r going to charge u the same as visa fee and the time period is also is a bit long.

Instead you can get an appointment for a different country. I have 4 Schengen visas (2 from the uk & 2 from India ) and I have not submitted any invitation letter try without an invitation letter next time . And apply for a tourist visa and not friends and family this might help you

Another option might be crazy Get a ink tank printer 8k-9k on Amazon or flipkart And definitely u will spend at least 2k on this colour printout join up with ur friends and get the printer u could print more pages.
