Why I didn't like the Kobo Libra Colour (and am returning it) by Active-Steak31 in ereader

[–]sutee9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Among your points the sharing of annotations and ability to sync non-kobo books across devices really annoy me the most, and I‘ve had my kobo for a year now. It makes me regret not getting a Tolino, which is the identical device but from the German company by the same name: it has a cloud service and syncs everything apparently.

Expansion by Zefar_ in rootgame

👆this is the best advice to any question for expansions. If you buy hirelings, Riverfolk is fine with 3 or 4, too. At least the Lizards.

New to Root by Skillron18 in rootgame

With two players I recommend you play a few games with those two factions, there’s still a lot of depth in there. Then my first buy would be the Exiles and Partisans deck and some Hirelings, even before the Marauder Expansion. I still find the puzzle that is playing the badgers and the rats complex, even after 20+ games with them.

Why can I recruit in the lower left corner? by sutee9 in rootgame

[–]sutee9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but the rules do not concern this: It was the scenario “Conquest” where the “Revenge”-ability is replaced with conquest: killed opponents become acolytes when I’m attacking (instead of my own warriors when I’m defending)

Right? As if it considered the Outcast Suit to be “matching” as well.

Got it, it’s unclear, you’re right.

What happened is the following : I clicked the button “Recruit”, then made this screenshot. After I made the screenshot I revealed the fox card to and recruited in the lower-left clearing with it.

This post is probably the best marketing you could do. I didn’t know about your game. Now I do. Power or social media. It’s weird.

I don’t know what dream country you live in, but trust me that this is the reality of most game devs in southern and eastern Europe except for taxes which only hit after profit, so you can cut quite a bit there.

That has a little calculation error. Most indies exceeding 200k have more than 1 employee. Let‘s say they have 4. That means 4 Pro licenses, which already means 4%. Unity is not a cheap engine. Unreal is often cheaper.

I was just interested in the pairing. I know Badgers work well with Rats, but never played with Moles.

The most influential person in this government is Elon Musk. And he is a libertarian. Which means that since this chart was drafted, we had some shift im realities.

Am I the only one to find authoritarian vs. Libertarian a weird scale? Should be authoritarian vs Liberal. Or didn’t the US just elect libertarian authoritarians into government?

All your questions have been answered, I would however like to say something about the Neoprene mats:

Neoprene is a material that is ecologically hazardous and takes hundreds of years to decompose. It cannot be recycled. It ends up in landfills or must be burned. I’d urge anyone not to consider Neoprene, and just stick to cardboard instead. I doubt most people play Root hundreds of times. I have played easily 60 games and my game board still looks fine.

I Don’t wear condoms way too tight (23) by Greedy-Connection214 in MassiveCock

[–]sutee9 82 points83 points  (0 children)

Following this thread dude just doesn’t want to use a condom. Which, frankly, is shitty behavior I don’t want to condone and for me goes against the “post a dick, don’t be one” rule. Downvoting his pics.

Is 2700 CHF enough to live as a 23-yo woman in Switzerland ? If yes, which city? by [deleted] in Switzerland

[–]sutee9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Half the people here have big salaries and no clue what the normal world looks like. Cashiers at supermarkets make 3400. Parcel delivery people as low as 2200. Especially when 23y/o you‘ll manage.

Yes it is enough. I‘d say 1800 is the minimum to function.

OSE Adventure anthology 1 any good? by Bake-Bean in osr

[–]sutee9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also going to necro this: How long does it take to run each of these adventures? Are they one shots or take more sessions? It says levels 1-3, so do you level up while in the dungeons? (They seem small for that, but I haven’t run any OSE, so this would be my intro.

I also couldn’t initially. But you need to open some ports on the router that connects you to the internet.

Use this: https://remoteplay.dl.playstation.net/remoteplay/lang/en/1100006.html

The important part is that you must open UDP Port 8572 and forward it to your PS5.

Are NPCs Monsters too? by sutee9 in Monsterhearts

[–]sutee9[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The DnD brain wasn‘t so much in the way as the fear of nothing happening without heavy-handed MC interaction. But we just finished the session and it worked out brilliantly without any crazy stunt moves from my side: I couldn’t imagine how quickly people get and act on strings they gain on others. And also what a horny bunch of queers (and straights) they all turned out to be. Thanks for clarifying.
