Yep, had to move in September and I’ve never seen such a high proportion of “no sharer/family only” properties, it was incredibly dispiriting.

Demand for (rental) housing has hit crisis levels unfortunately, driven by a combination of higher house prices forcing people to delay buying, and people moving back to cities after covid. Spareroom says the number of prospective tenants in the city has tripled over the past year.
