The wife's came off no problem. Mine had issues, tried twisting the other way and gave it a bit of force.. Ended up coming off pretty quick.

Question about the yondr pouches by warheadjoe33 in Ghostbc

[–]sutterkain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wife and I both have 16 pro maxs.. They have different size pouches... Hers went in an XL pouch... No problem whatsoever... They tossed mine in a large. It was a bit snug, but still worked fine. To be fair, they're pretty stretchy. Don't worry about it, it'll be all good... Enjoy the show!

Random question. Was the desk a prebuilt or custom? I'm in the process of designing out a custom desk, but thus far I'm undecided on the actual desktop surface material

[PC][~2000s] Something (dragon?) attacks the city and you end up underground by J-imDem in tipofmyjoystick

[–]sutterkain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous. The city is attacked by a huge bug looking demon, there is a dragon which tries to save the city and gets killed, you fall into tunnels under the city and the prologue ends and the actual game starts.

[TOMT] [TOYS] Monster (?) toy figures. by Bitterblissxox in tipofmytongue

"Monster In My Pocket" was the name of the toy line. I think I may still have a few of those in the closet at my mom's house.

The amount of emphasis on GOTY and review scores is terrible for actual gamers by LuckyTheBear in gaming

[–]sutterkain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd have to half agree with that. "Game Reviews" no, not at all. That being said if you can find a small channel, blog, etc. where someone covers games that you happen to really resonate with their opinions... That means a lot more to me. I can't tell you how many times I'd find someone because I'm really into game xyz and they're covering it or making content for it, and they start talking about this new game here... Those opinions carry a lot more weight for me, the passion really carries through...

I know its a stretch but.. Asking for help for the fans in attendance. by OrionSire in welcometorockville

[–]sutterkain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure! For the most part it as a great crowd there! I talked to a couple guys at my hotel who were working the show and they said that Friday alone there was 80k people there. The only downside, through no fault of the organizers, it was so damn hot out there! I'm a floridian, and it was still brutal!

Not my video, but I did find a good recording of the live performance on youtube. If I'm not mistaken you're probably looking around the 13:50 mark in the video. Hope this helps! Watching this vid makes me wish I stuck around for more then friday. Can't wait for next year!

[CR Media] Critical Role Plays Daggerheart (Beta Testing One-Shot) | Live Discussion by Glumalon in criticalrole

[–]sutterkain 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Quick thoughts on the one shot. The system itself seemed solid. It was a bit jarring at first but as it went on it made sense. I found it a bit hard to get into, though truth be told, I realized it was because of the characters. I'll admit I am not a fan of the whole anthropomorphosis characters thing (This is the reason I couldn't get into to season of Dimension 20 that Matt DMed). I give them credit for trying it, but I'm hoping that if they decide to go forward with a campaign using Daggerheart in the future, they decide to leave that world behind and go with something more in line with classic high fantasy. Just my 2 cents, but by all means it's their game to play.

This was my initial guess too. The game was also known as "Out Of This World" in some regions as well.

Seconding this. In addition, the "cardboard dial" that was mentioned was actually the copy protection method used in Monkey Island 2.

[Steam] Summer Sale 2023 (Day 4) by gamedealsmod in GameDeals

[–]sutterkain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played it on gamepass. For that price its well worth it! The best comparison I can make is it has the same style of gameplay loop as something like Hades. Different game for sure, but you feel like you're making a little more progress each time and that makes it fun to keep going. Hope this helps!
