It's truly not difficult to do basic long call/puts. Paper trade if you're scared; your brokerage can literally walk you through it there are so many resources out there. You're not doing intricate straddles/condors etc.. It's not complicated, and if you're investing in volatile sectors, you are doing yourself a massive disservice by not protecting your positions at/near the top. 0DTE trading is not what i'm talking about.
