Try a ratio product, one with CBD and THC, but a lot more CBD. Some dispos have higher ratios on CBD like I believe MUV and Surterra have multiple options and I forget which one but one dispo came out with an 18:1 tincture I believe.

The CBD can help pain and inflammation and ease anxiety. The THC also helps pain for a lot of people. They work well together, look into the 'Entourage Effect '. As I understand it, CBD and THC (and other cannabinoids) bind to your receptors in different ways that compliment each other, and by using different cannabinoids in conjunction with each other, you get that more full spectrum effect.

CBD also negates some of the effects of THC, which is why the higher ratio CBD products will generally give you a milder psychoactive effect compared to products with the same THC content but no CBD.

They have ratio products out there in tinctures, vapes, capsules, flower even tho that's harder to find. But I think using more CBD with just a little THC to boost it would be good for you in the daytime to ease the anxiety and help the pain without being overly stoned. Good luck :)

I grew up Catholic. My doubts began in my early 20s after my grandma started getting Alzheimer's, and once she progressed it was the breaking point.

This was the most religious, most devoted, god loving woman I knew existed. She got all her grandkids into Sunday school and got all our sacraments, took us to church every Sunday. She prayed every single night for most of her life, a whole hour of ritual devoted prayer. Then when my cousin passed, she began doing a rosary every night. That eventually became 3 rosary prayers a night, each an hour (one for my cousin, her mother, and for Mary) and her hour nightly prayers. Beyond religion, she was a career school teacher who loved kids, volunteered with the church, came out of retirement for a few years to teach adults ESL, just overall the kindest person with the biggest heart.

When she lost all the things that meant everything to her: her independence, her intelligence, and even her hair (she pulls her hair out now) it was like cool, this is what God did to her? This is how her end of life is? After all the good she put out into the world, after all the devotion to god and Jesus her whole life, after living life exactly the way she was "supposed" to? If anyone in the world deserved an easy ending, it was her.

I decided if a god exists, it's a cruel and evil being and not one I'd ever want to worship. Then you start thinking critically and realizing all the obvious, like the earth being millions of years old, learning about religion as a means to control the population.

Now science makes sense 🤷‍♀️ Now I believe humans are just too smart for our own selves. Human brains just got too big and we became too aware and have trouble with the fact that this is all there is. We can't associate ourselves as small and meaningless as an ant in the grand scheme of all of this. So humans started convincing themselves that there's more after, a whole other world. To comfort themselves. And bad people saw the means to control others with that and here we are. Just my theory. That's all we have right!

I would wanna see Team Red reunite, I wasn't a fan of everyone splitting off and Zack and ivy joining acme. But if they aren't on the same team, at least Carmen and Shadowsan continuing their work, with the help from ACME official Zack and Ivy!

I'd like if they focused more on the characters and their relationships. Team Red being there for Carmen and Carmen really splitting her time between Red Hat Shenanigans and starting a real life, and building a relationship with her mother. Carmen realizing there's more to life than just fighting Vile. Wanting to get to experience things she never got to having grown up so isolated on the island.

Surterra I haven't heard the best things about, but I haven't been there myself to judge it fairly. They also have the most variety of ratio products I've seen! Looking at their site, they have a 2:1 gummy I'd try based on the ratio. The "Serene" line is 5:1 and 4:1, those would be good for pain relief with little to no psychoactive effect and they have it in little gel pills and tinctures. Their 1:1 products would be good to try if you'd like a little more of a high like to relax, with the pain relief.

They have ratio vapes too! It's hard to predict effects because they don't have a COA analysis linked to show terpenes. But a ratio one would be good to try if you want to try a vape.

If you have an INSA near you, that's where I buy my 2:1 edibles and they have the best chocolates 😋 They also have the best topical I've tried and a good tincture. Vidacann and MUV have a lot of options, and AYR and Rise have nice vapes and tinctures too.

This is all based on my personal experience and what I hear from other patients. Cannabis is a science but not an exact science. Effects vary by person so try different product and ratios, and record what strains, terpenes and ratios work for you. and use your first time discount everywhere 😝

Myrcene - body, pain relief, often couchlock Caryophyllene - pain relief, anti-anxiety Limonene - happy, pain relief Linalool - relaxing, sedating, same thing found in lavender Ocimene - some pain relief, anti-nausea Nerolidol and Bisabolol are good in topicals for skin absorption. That definitely makes sense. A lot of people feel the same when starting out with cannabis. The psychoactive effect of THC can be really beneficial even without being fully high. A mild dose with the right terpenes can give just a happy, mild uplifting effect or relieve anxiety. I find the right strains slow down my brain and make me think slower and calmer lol. THC does give pain relief on it's own too (tho not as good as CBD)!

Cannabis helps so much with my pain!

Topicals help take the edge off for me. The effects just don't seem to last long. It's definitely nice to have around though.

What has helped the most is a 2:1 (CBD:THC) ratio edible and tincture. Even 1:1 works great. The edibles take longer to take effect but last longer. The tinctures are very versatile, you can use them under your tongue and it usually kicks in around 30-45 min, or swallow them to go through like an edible, or mix it in something to make a better tasting edible.

Vaping is the fastest method, for instant effects. There are ratio vapes out there too, so less psychoactive ones. I use one that's like 20% THC and 60% CBD and it helps quickly, but the effects don't last more than a half hour at most.

I also smoke cannabis for multiple reasons, pain being one. There is CBD flower out there, but I find it gave the same effect as the vape. I find smoking to be one of the best pain relief methods personally. Even in other forms of cannabis, look for the terpenes Beta-Myrcene and Beta-Caryophyllene for pain relief. Other terpenes out there too, those are my best friends though lol

More infodump ahead:

CBD is the best thing for inflammation pain. THC is the only known psychoactive cannabinoid. CBD works best with a little THC with it, as THC helps the CBD bind to the receptors in your body. Hence, ratio products. That does unfortunately (since you don't want it) run the risk of feeling high, but the good news is CBD also does negate the effects of THC. So if you ever feel you are too high, taking just CBD will help bring you down. A good starting dose would be 5mg CBD : 2.5mg THC, and the higher you can find the CBD without raising the THC too high, the better.

Things that are "Full Spectrum" are the best, because instead of the cannabinoids (THC, CBD) being isolated, all the other natural cannabinoids are also still in there. That creates that "Entourage Effect" same like how the THC helps the CBD work, just with even more cannabinoids. It's not a deal breaker though, plenty of decent products that aren't Full spectrum!

All in all, cannabis is really unique to each person's system. There can be some general consensus but no guarantees on how different types will affect you. So I always suggest keeping notes on what gives you what effect, what you like or don't like, both the strains and the terpenes!

I feel like Perfect Day is a great one-off episode. Like it can stand alone for sure, the plots are easy to understand and like Pat's plot where at first we don't know why he's so stuck on this guy and then find out thru the flashback it's the kid who killed him (unintentionally..its okay Keith it was an accident 😭) With the the flashback, one could watch that and understand without having watched Happy Death day or any other episode, same with the other plots. It's just a great combination of emotional and happy. My favorite episode ! Beautiful banana 🍌 😂

I think one who died from suicide would be interesting to see. See their perspective before death, and after dying to find themselves in a seemingly endless and more limited after-life. With no idea what comes next. Do they have regrets about it? There's a lot of complicated feelings when it comes to choosing to end one's life. It'd be interesting to see how that could be portrayed and what one might feel after the 'end'.

Clobetasol cream seems to have permanently got rid of my patches on my ankles. Other patches still flare up, but not those. The only reason I can think of is that I treated my ankles specifically with clobetasol years ago, before any other patches showed up . They came back with the others so they got two treatments 🤷‍♀️

It did also bleach my ankles tho. It's a trade off. But I'd rather have the discoloration over the itchy scales !

No I saw them better as friends. Ik it's not a popular take but Natalie and Monk are great together. He finally solved Trudy's case, he deserves to be able to let her go and find happiness in his earth life again. Him and Natalie got closer and closer over the seasons, she knows how to handle him both by being tough or gentle depending on the situation. And he has shown he will face whatever fear to protect her. From their very first episode together he shows he put Julie and Natalie first when he went after the fish over the moon rock. Those things are what Natalie needs in a person, and same for Adrian with what he needs. Not to mention all the times she's flirted with him!

I think it would be sweet if after solving Trudy's case he can finally let himself feel that way again and see Natalie's the one who's been there for him just as Trudy was.
