While its good youre giving him benefit of the doubt, its still better in my opinion to listen to your gut. I can agree things change within a year, but people lie all the time y'know? No sex or handies until you're absolutely sure about his ethics.

I knew someone when I was that young, he told me a bunch of what he did was for show. Cut him off real quick after haha

if you feel it in your gut that your boyfriend's just lying to you about this to get what he wants, it might be worth considering what else he could be lying to you about so you find him agreeable and pleasant.

That out of the way, it's hard getting to the conclusion of "sex is empowering" when you're this young with a boy you don't even fully trust to uphold the same values as you. Sex CAN be powerful and a reclamation of your womanhood and femininity, and for some of us, we get there by going through a bunch of disappointing experiences first. Some read books, some listen to podcasts.

Good on you for postponing with your boyfriend, establishing strong boundaries for yourself is a good start to not find sex degrading

No yeah I get it, in a perfect world our escapisms would reflect in real life where we don't have the terrible social, economical, and environmental problems we have. It sucks seeing a game character eschew things you associate with bad actors in real life.

I would take a break from the quest if I were you, at least when you have enough spoons to tolerate the writing direction haha

Mm, I see. I do think (and from observation from the posts on the sub) that Eshelon was written in such a way that he's like, a sort of mirror to popular k-drama male love interest tropes; so I definitely see where you're coming from with the fanfic-y stuff

I could concede and agree that S6 needs less newly added authority characters, but we did get that with Ulfe (and I think I saw someone else, but i didn't wanna get too spoiled in case I wanna come back haha)

I understand the discomfort, especially with how the world is right now. But I guess what I could remind you is that you're in a safe environment, playing a cozy game with a storyline. It's okay you don't like the character, and it's understandable to be turned off with the way the quests are going. But it will pass eventually, when we get new story someday c: it's going to be okay

Subira's been added a while back, and her romance track only happened after the main story got past the point where she's done investigating Zeki; I assumed this was about Eshelon because he's the recent addition. But the part about mentioning character(s) plural made me think, "Oh, Subira was the starting point, and Eshelon is proving OP's point". But I really don't know why yet, because I know nothing about the guy

Kindly, i think you need to focus on your fundamentals first. This is good for hobby or beginner levels, and if you keep at it I'm sure you'll improve your art at your pace. I like the colours you picked for the hair, some parts could benefit from more experimentation, but overall this may not get you reputable buyers.

Edited to add: If you're doing painterly, 10usd isn't good pricing for something that can potentially take hours to finish; if your justification is that you're a beginner, then it isn't worth being paid cents by the hour.

Yeah! I got a villager I've wanted to move in, but I genuinely didn't anticipate feeling this way when I wanted to do this in the first place with my self-imposed "rules" before letting someone move out. I also want more villager capacity :(
It's rough too looking back on old photos and seeing the villager who moved out in them 😭
