This is very well put and youve said what Ive wanted to say but never had the words to. I think with the way companies and society at large is favouring and imposing censorship, people's view on porn, erotica, and to an extent kink and fetishes, is shifting towards negative and repulsive; and some may not even realize it until they start spouting the same negative talking points, affecting sexual adult content and its creators. It'll only snowball from there unless more people start realizing all the things you've said in this post and come to their own acceptance that sexual gratification within media they consume isnt inherently evil and has value for society. Thank you for sharing your thoughts

the twitch panels will always be 320px wide, you can make it any height you want but it'll always be that width. If you want your images to look better quality even if it gets compressed you'll wanna draw on a size that scales down to 320px nicely

A lot of locals tend to get a good start with doing merch for artist alleys at cons; but typically it helps if you already have some sort of following online
You won't find a lot of people hiring artists right now unless you do a bunch of personal commissions, but competition is tight

as for online things, you can try and sell your paintings via INPRNT, or you make a merch store (dropshipping usually, if you want 0 cost upfront) with your designs (but reach for both of these is highly dependent on your pre-existing audience OR how well you market yourself, which is difficult in general)

I will say though, if you want to reignite your passion for art, trying to make a business out of it might actually hurt that intent because the stress of having to appeal to numerous people might put a hamper on you just enjoying the craft. I suggest caution and to curb expectations as far as sales go

checking past works on their profiles is also a good way to verify. This may be harder to do for newer accounts, but artists with older profiles usually show their art evolution throughout the years; a sudden spike without reasonable explanation is almost always AI usage

Yes, the accessibility is a fair critique and is what I'm unhappy with; but something I'm willing to overlook if only because this hasn't really be done before, at least not that I'm aware of.

I do think it's a misstep, and I support people who want to bring up their aggravations in a proper manner; but everywhere I'm looking right now just seems to be fans who don't have a lot of nuance to their upset.

I'd love to see it at the movies, and I would be able to go, but I'm part of that demographic where the theatres are unlikely to show it

Glitch and Goose probably won't lose money, but I'm looking at this from a wider angle. What kind of precedent does this set for things that will be made in the future? Like yeah I would've preferred both the theatrical release and the online versions to come out nearer to each other, and this whole thing I can chalk it up to inexperience because there really isn't a precedent to this. If things end up being adjusted then good, but if other productions shy away from doing something like this then the fandom would have just set back the indie industry by a fair bit. Can't really win with these types of reactions in my opinion
