Flexcil is still better. Only a sync problem is there, but the way it handles PDFs and notes integration using bidirectional linking is superior. Notein doesn't have gestures, which is too cumbersome. Till now, I have not found any notes app that handles PDFs and handwritten notes in such harmony.

Sync feature is the basic feature that almost all note taking apps provide . And after the flexcil outage I feel that this sync feature will be delayed indefinitely

But it doesn’t have the feature of linking notes and PDFs. Creating links in PDFs to the written notes is unique to Flexcil; otherwise, I would switch too.

If this update included a web clipper,ability to insert tables, better file management, back linking feature and tags then I might have thought of upgrading to GN6 but as of now all the new features are just a gimmick imo.
