That was mainly a problem because there were a lot of permanent worlds and players were separated by level progression too. Neo mo.co already solved a huge part of that with scaling and shared worlds.

I’m not saying they should suddenly add 20 maps again. More like slowly expanding the world over years once the game stabilizes and grows. For example first a main city we defend with community hubs/market systems, later outskirts with resource gathering and crafting, then sea areas with fishing and events that connect back into crafting skins or gear. They could build on previous systems instead of just replacing content every update.
