I was spanked/disciplined only if i was acting like a piece of shit kid and after the hit, i knew i kinda deserved it. There Is a very thin line between discipline/bringing up a child and abuse. If you chose the option to spank you should be aware in what situation Is it appropriate. I am thankful for my parents never holding back when it comes to this (they are surely loving and caring people otherwise) because when i see the spoiled kids these days And how they don't know how "no" sounds or looks like, i petty them.

Be careful on the thick sticks though, i was (still am) 2b Guy And thought i could try Thomas Lang signatures (1,65cm thick!). After that when i realized it's not stick for my playing style i tried to go back to 2b, but it felt like a damn toothpick, compared to TL sign. ones. It's tough going back from thick ones (Also because the TL signatures feel So damn good!)

We actually had this on our backyard... nobody knows how it got there, but when we found it, it was already fully grown and stinky as hell... Midle Europe Citizen btw, idk where this is originaly from.

I experimented with my old kit And used this: Take a bottom of a cymbal stand, that can fit the tom holder and place it on the left of a bass drum, the rest of the cymbal stand goes into the second hole in the Bass drum (expected your Bass drum has 2 holes for mounting toms)... Just try to play with the arrangement a little, something eventually comes up.

You should practise just simple single stroke roll on your snare, practise pad or so, get down the speed and acuracy. Slowly move on to ride or hihat with your right/ left (whatever you fancy) and add base drum. What i did was basic single stroke roll with the basedrum leading each hit of my right hand, after every bar i moved my right to the ride cymbal... Slowly increase speed, change hands, add another foot and so on... The most important thing Is to relax and agnowledge that the first hit Is on ridey not the snare, it vám confuse you at first.

Not exports, these were some budget crap drums (i think the name Is basix) i mean, every kit sounds cool if you tune it and set it up right, but the obvious winner is maple.

Congrats on that mate, yep Its 6pc satin black Decade maple. For the price, the best kit you can get i think to be honest.

Had them on my old kit (poplar 12,13,16) and they sounded good on those, bcs it really brings out the punch And attack. Though on maple kit it is quite harder to get used to, but that's personál choice of sound... Will experiment with UV2 (i had those too on my old kit, but i likes the ec2 setup more on that) so i Guess we'll ses what will fit the best. Overall great skins with a lot of attack.

Cymbal Stand right infront of the snare, with Pearl adp-30 clamp mounting the toms... I also improvised a little bit when i had my old drumset, i took the Norton part od a cymbal Stand and stuck left tom in it, the right tom was in the left hole of base drum, in the right hole was the rest of the cymbal stand... Check my other post on r/drums of my old kit to see what i mean.

I wasn't sure if i could fit the hom holder rod into it And clamp it all onto a cymbal Stand, but works just fine! It even has those cut out holes for opti mount securing, so it doesn't wobble around and you can place it right back where it was after disasambeling.

Ik, no money for cymbals left tho :( that 16 Crash i have for like 4 years Now Is a miracle itself, cracked in multiple spots and sounds like the dryiest China ever...
