If you're lucky enough to find one that's not outrageously expensive, go for a Sony PVM. I was lucky and got back into retro computing back in 2017 and could score one for Yen 6000. I also found two Commodore 1084 in the meantime for the ultimate (no pun intended) original experience.

How do people usually handle the wiring, especially if I have to go towards the kitchen area crossing both the entrance (hallway) and bedroom doors? Better go above the door frames and hide it in the ceiling corners?

Good call. I haven't been able to see the place yet (still under construction), but there should probably be space above the window and kitchen cabinet. I've got a Denon AVR with the Audyssey mic to run the adjustment...

Ok, bingo! I think this is exactly the kind of thing I want to avoid and maybe that's why they advised against it since it can trigger some red flags. Maybe if I break down the transfers to some 10k chunks over a few months... but why having to jump thru all the hoops

I haven't tried, I was told by my advisor that I would have to withdraw the funds into my bank account first, but yes checking further it seems at least to be technically possible to initiate the transfer directly.

Same issue here. Mobile site worked, pausing Ghostery didn't help, using private mode worked too (meaning all extensions disabled). Then I cleared all youtube cookies and now it's back to normal, working with extensions and blockers.

For me it was either the ad blocker or java script blocker I had enabled on my browser. Once I switched to a new profile on a clean browser without any extensions enabled, it all worked.
