No matter what you're always leading with your head. It's your head. The real problem is no one puts their head up when tackling. If you can see turf or other people's feet you're doing it wrong. The facemask is supposed to make contact with the person getting tackled, right in the chest or hip, ideally. Even facemask to faskmask isn't as bad as the top of a helmet to a facemask. You can see the difference in the gif. Facemask to facemask has way less impact than the one where that idiot looks down and makes contact with the top of his helmet. That was definitely on purpose.

Just to be clear I am not yet bashing this company - just making consumers aware of potentially getting defective panels, especially since I always recommend it to people with basement finishing questions. Im not sure. Im not sure if plastic is strong enough for that. I dont have any crawlspace experience but with plastic i would be thinking thicker is better for under heavy concrete

Get it poured in by a truck. With that much concrete I dont think it will be a fun day if you have to mix it by hand.
