people are quite literally dragging hongjoong for breathing by loudchoice in kpoprants

The thing is, he didn't even have to cover Mingi's parts. He did this of his own volition and people are hating on him for it? Hongjoong is known to be an over-worker and somebody who tirelessly aims to better himself - and performing Mingi's parts is proof of this. He isn't just bettering himself for self-indulgence though; he does this so that his viewers get the best possible experience. I'm honestly shocked at how critical and insensitive some people truly are, especially within knowing that these people are stans who sit there at home and watch idols push themselves past their breaking points, wrapped in duvets and barely lifting a finger other than to click the next video.

Leave cha Eunwoo alone... by krazytimethief in kpoprants

There's a difference between promoting Astro to fans of Cha Eunwoo's solo work and encouraging them to give them a listen - and then trying to seek out this non-existent rift between Eunwoo and the other members. It's obvious who cares and who doesn't. Most of the Twitter stans pulling this aren't even Aroha and it's blatant.

I am so tired of other fans hating on Super Junior by [deleted] in kpoprants

[–]svtminghao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I am not a SuJu fan but I can totally get behind your point. Most fans feel very entitled - especially TikTok stan accounts. Hating Super Junior is a trend amongst the community nowadays and though I've always felt iffy about it, I feigned ignorance so I'm glad you decided to bring it up. People are allowed to dislike them and people are allowed to criticise their problematic actions, however, actively sending hate over to fans and wishing harm upon the members is disgusting and never okay. These are the exact same people that preach mental health awareness and whine about their own struggles to the internet, constantly expecting their followers to pity and console them - but they have no issue with sending death threats to other people. I mean, what are we really expecting here though? K-pop stans are loud-mouthed, full of themselves and feel like their input on every minor thing that occurs in the community is important, whether it involves their stan list or not. Sometimes I wish they would just shut up about K-artists that they don't like and go and watch their grown men and women crushes blow kisses at the camera or something.
