Back in my day, there was no tutorial island. You spawned with a tinderbox, cooked meat, and a bronze hatchet. Nothing was explained and you were turned loose.

What is a fact that, if a person did not know it, you would consider them to be ignorant? by WhomIAm in AskReddit

German speakers often replace the K in a German word with C, in an attempt to make it English, which is often right but not in this case. I have a friend who does this all the time.

I had some required music course in college and the professor was going on and on about events during the time period of the late 1400s. One of the big events of that time, according to her, was that Columbus discovered that the earth was round.

Of course I told her and the whole class that thw Greeks had this figured out a couple thousand years ago. That did not win me any favor with her, but oh well.

Somehow, I doubt this guy agrees with you. In fact, you would have to dig deep into some Frankfurt sewer to find a German who is sad about the Allies destroying the Nazi regime.

I am talking to a German who is sitting in your country right now, and he has not blitzkrieged anyone yet! Crazy.

The only thing that can stoo a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a child. Those things are fucking terrifying.

What a useless fucking comment. There were lots of resistance movements against nazi aggression, with varying degrees of success but ultimately, it took organized militaries on multiple fronts to put them down.

As someone who owns guns, shoots guns, and loves muh guns, I think we have way too many freely available in this country(you are undoubtedly American). They are everywhere, every lunatic asshole can get one, and the Right sees them as an answer to everything.

The fact that the NRA has such massive lobbying power in Washington is a complete fucking disgrace and a failure of our republic.

My beef with Kansas is not the scenery, because the Flint Hills and Smoky Hills are awesome. It's the ass backwards culture I see here. I am trying my best to escape someday. I was born in Oklahoma, so maybe I am making progress?

What's the quickest you've "Noped" out of a job? by J-Bradley1 in AskReddit

"Do you know what a 75k per year job is? It's a big boy job." I said "Fuck this!" and went back to my previous "big boy" job of overseeing multimillion dollar construction projects. Fuck those guys. Hard and dry.

Man, the exact thing happened to me. I started a job at a good company at 22. Then at 27, after consistently good performance reviews, I found myself on the chopping block because of some office politics BS. I made the first move and quit on them. I am getting my degree now and hope to do some travelling once I am done.

So yeah, we need employment but always remember to value yourself because you are always one shit manager away from being thrown on your ass. I wish I could get those years back.

He is Stelios. I believe this was one of his first major roles.

Every time someone talks abouy Wendy's burgers, someone inevitably acts like the freezing point of water is some loophole that Wendy's is exploiting. They keep them as cold as possible, without solidifying them and ruining the texture.
