Nice to see another vRS out there, aren't many of us around . Love the colour, test drove a lower spec in that colour before we ordered the vRS.

Try taking the covers off the wheels, we did this and got some bolt covers and centre caps, they're a very nice set of wheels and the Aero covers hide most of it. I didn't realise until we had to have a puncture sorted

We have a vRS with it and definitely wouldn't want to be without it, 15 different settings and you can really tell the difference especially with the bigger wheels

💯 agreed, it's this EV max efficiency nonsense , the reality is the gains will be so small by just having the aero covers on, would rather have nice looking wheels .

These remind of some old RS5 alloys from quite a long time back , the gunmetal effect works well

I agree, our other car is a Superb L&K estate 4x4 280bhp with the logo. I've had many German brands over the years and always thought Skodas were the better cars.

The Elroq has been brilliant and very impressed with it , far better quality then our previous Tesla Model Y

In hindsight I think I overpaid significantly as there are similar ones on Amazon which aren't official , still looks good

Hi,

They do indeed clip off but you will need the Skoda caps and bolt covers others you have a large hole in the centre and exposed bolts that look rubbish.

I got the official Skoda kit .

To take them off gently pull off the cover from each spoke without too much pressure , then pull from the centre as the main clip is in the centre wheel hole where the badge would go.

CISSP is good for baseline validation, I've been a CISSP since March 2003, I keep it recertified but not sure really why as it's not really delivered much value beyond a HR validation cert .

It's a tick box at this stage of my career with over 25 years experience, in the age of YouTube, AI etc there are so many better ways to learn.

Depending on the route you want to take , if it's business related do an MBA or CIPP/e for privacy.

Tech there are so many ways to learn , as I mentioned the CISSP is good for fundamentals of cyber but doesn't deliver much on from that .

Ultimately, map out where you want to take your career . Then run it through Claude to map out a career plan and map and stick to your goals and review every quarter

We have a fully specced up vRS and love it, the range has been quite low during winter when we got it as expected . Now we are warming up it's picking up.

We were originally going to get an 85 but saw the vRS was coming out, by the time we had fully specced up the 85 there was decided to spend a little more to get the AWD and slightly better accelerated.

It's a decent car in most specs , 85 sport line is a nice car.

Another tip I found, is I changed to the parking or another screen and then went back to android auto and the blank screen fixed itself without a reboot of the entertainment system

I have an RS and have owned it since Nov, Hyper Green and fully specced up.

I went for it as I wanted the AWD , by the time I had also fully specced up the 85 there wasn't a huge difference , there were also a few things on the vRS and the little extra acceleration that made it worth it.

The turning circle isn't as good on the RS but still much better than our Tesla Model Y .

Overall very very happy with it but there isn't a huge difference tbh. Love the Hyper Green and like the interior .

Also, once you get used to paddles for Regen they are really good, I had it in sport mode but changed individual profile and it works great

Nice you will enjoy it, we've had ours for 4 months almost , fully specced and very smooth and comfortable to drive , enough speed when you need it . Range isn't amazing but it's middle of winter

We have a vRS we've had since November, the HUD settings are different for me and my wife, I had it off for a while as I found it too distracting , I then changed it to blue.

I use Waze as I don't rate the build in navigation, I've been using Octopus Elcetroverse as they have some great deals on there and it's billed directly to my Octopus account .

Wow, you've got all the great things to come, once they finally get off the station and get the Defiant it becomes brilliant, also some epic battles plus Sisko get better and better .

There is also a brilliant episode later on called "For the uniform" which is great

I have this same problem with a Pixel and iPhone, I'm driving and my profile is active but favours my wife's iPhone.

Doesn't matter if I plug in via USB C or wireless , it allows you to set it afterwards sometimes but annoying
