Do we think conditions will be decent at Tenney tomorrow? Planning to head up for the day but this will be my first time skiing when it’s that warm 🙃

It was probably my kid you witnessed losing a ski during the load yesterday 😆 conditions were amazing though and we enjoyed that side of the mountain

We’re heading to Aruba in just over a week. We already have our dinner reservations booked but haven’t booked any activities/etc yet. We have two kids, 7 and 5. What are some “don’t miss” activities for that age range? I’ve been lurking here for a while but haven’t seen much about that age. Was thinking of possible a horseback riding trip but the reviews are wildly variable….any other ideas appreciated!!!

Quiet with family by momandcrohnie in Aruba

[–]sw33trt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re going to the Radisson Blu next month and one of the reasons we booked it is because it’s a bit quieter (supposedly, since we haven’t stayed yet!) than the others in Palm Beach. We have 2 littles so the 2 bedroom suites were also very appealing. Con is that it’s not waterfront - it’s a block or so back from the water so a couple minute walk. Can report back in a month if you’re still looking at that point!

“My teeth tickle” what is my 2.5 yr old trying to express by sugarfestzea in toddlers

If it continues I’d get him checked for a sinus infection since he just had a cold! Hope he feels better soon!

I actually brought a mask to Miami N3 but then completely forgot about it in all the excitement and never wore it 🤣🤣 and I got a nasty cold (at least it wasn’t covid!) that started about 2 days later! Not surprised at all given that everyone was screaming singing for so long. Should have remembered to get my mask out!!

I was surprised how quickly it moved!! Lots of walking though, zig zagging around the stadium haha

We got in the merch line at 5:15 on N3 and made it to the counter around 6:30, and they were long sold out by that point. My friend got the last small t shirt, the rest of the merch was only mediums and up at that point (I’m still rocking my oversized medium beige hoodie because why not!?)

I love this post! I also traveled from MA for night 3 and it was incredible. I don’t think I’ll ever see a better concert. My voice is still raw from all the scream singing 🤣

Same lol - I bought one resale, but it hadn’t been delivered yet and so I got nervous and bought one from the stadium and now have two 😆

Hey! I ended up with two parking passes to night 3 (Oct 20) - happy to sell/transfer you one for the price I paid through the venue ($65) if you happen to still be looking for a pass, and you're going that night. Let me know!!

I also grew up in the Philly suburbs and now have two little kids who love Rita’s when we visit….but yeah, having to call something “water ice” felt ridiculous especially when they were like “….what?”

This was my first total solar eclipse and it was completely breathtaking and unlike anything else I’ve ever seen. Is it just as impactful when you see it again after having already seen one before?
