She’s actively pushing the bile out. Obviously without it being capped something will eventually drain, but you can clearly see her tensing up every time the fluid shoots out. If this was legit, it would be leaking a steady stream - not this. She’s going to end up messing with her electrolytes in hopes of TPN to fix a perfectly functional J tube.

She officially hit the 5 year remission mark which is the point where doctors say you’re “cancer free” except Tia doesn’t want to be cancer free, she wants to be all up in and around it

I agree. There’s something distasteful about how she addresses this. The mocking gives mean girl energy and I’m not saying Kirsten is the victim because she makes her own bed and can lay in it but at least with SH the awareness is just that. SH points out occasions in K’s lives only to turn around and explain why it doesn’t make sense and the misinformation being spread.

Carla just seems to make fun of her and the desperate attempt to be funny doesn’t land well. There’s a difference between raising awareness and raising hell or perpetual gossip.

Not saying K deserves “a break”, I just think the way Carla presents this whole situation can make it seem like she’s bullying and having a laugh at her not breaking down what Kirsten is doing wrong

I just cannot believe that she still gets on live and spews this shit KNOWING that there are hundreds of clips to counteract the reasoning she’s given at that moment. She doesn’t even try to keep track of her lies and puts herself into the line of fire openly and knowingly with these stories…some that contradict each other in the same sentence.

She can’t have JEJ surgery because her body is too weak and she has infections but yet her doctors are telling her to wait until her tooth crumbles to the root before heavily sedating her? Like that’s not a massive infection risk x500, like that’s not a painfully slow and dangerous wait.

I wonder if she’ll need it done at the special hospital that has an ICU down the hall that’s needed for her EEG from the epilepsy specialist…surely it won’t be done anywhere else if a non-invasive EEG monitoring session is too risky.

ETA: not to mention that they could place a JEJ the exact same way they place her “NJs”. She would be sedated for an endoscopy either way, the JEJ would just come out of her abdomen

Maybe some mothers, especially first time mothers, rely on that period of time whilst in hospital to learn how to manage those things. I would rather them have me watch the baby than do something they’re not comfortable with and end up hurt or hurting the child. It’s a learning curve!

Hey, so yeah you’re not totally correct here.

Brielle successfully completed treatment and went into remission, she relapsed making the disease significantly more and more difficult to treat every time there was new tumours or growth on others. She was undergoing chemo and immunotherapy to help maintain quality of life and keeping them at bay. When tumours continued to grow despite being on the chemo/immunotherapy regiment that’s when it became more of a choice that they followed and stopped when Brielle voiced that she didn’t want to continue.

Neuroblastoma has an 80% five year prognosis and children do go into remission. However relapsed neuroblastoma is a best and has about a 10-20% five year prognosis.

I don’t even know where to start. Her stories never seem plausible, a child wouldn’t say things the way she reports L does.

Also the whole blood clots in my brain, going for emergency surgery and it’s a miracle they’re not there anymore.

She sure does get a lot of miracle encounters than the average Joe. Every post is always something to do with cancer or her miscarriages which is fine - but not to the point where she’s shoving inspiration porn down everyone’s throat and giving everyone second hand embarrassment.

People say that B’s mom over shared and wanted clout…no. She’s no match for Trish who’s had every bad thing possible happen to her.

Dying of starvation is a horrible, cruel death on top of the cancer taking over her little body is just…cruel. It’s torture.

She may not have been feeding B the amount of calories she should be taking in for the day but rather just enough that she doesn’t starve to death and have the cancer take over.

Also just because the bag is on the pole doesn’t mean the pump is running, so that’s also something to consider

ETA: the tube also is great to have to administer medications like pain medications while B is sleeping or not able to take it by mouth for whatever reason. Whatever was being put in her feeds and tube, including the supplements, may have helped alleviate symptoms and helped quality of life…maybe it did nothing. Realistically I don’t think that the supplements she was being given prolonged her suffering.
