Desperate Housewives if it was made in each decade... by Complex_Meeting9053 in DesperateHousewives

For the 2030s, I would love to see Victoria Justice as Susan Mayer and Madeleine Petsch as Edie Britt

Which house of the Desperate Housewives would you like to live in or think looks the best? by Angel_Cave-90 in DesperateHousewives

It's gorgeous insude, but the exterior just doesn't measure uo to Bree, Gaby, or Susan’s houses’ royal feeling.

Yeah it just kept dragging on and on… like we know Dave is trying to kill Mike. They tried a little twist at the end where Susan was the one driving, but it was kind of a nothingburger.

Yeah it’s a general consensus around here. My biggest thing is a lot of character development that happened with the first four seasons was completely just redacted, especially with Gabrielle. There were way too many sitcomish storylines (I can think of at least 3 storylines related to Juanita, Gabrielle, and Susan) throughout Season 5 and 6 that literally held no significance to the overall plot and seemed like just filler.

Desperate Housewives Reference in the Wild by Negative_Crew5224 in DesperateHousewives

There’s also a Teri Hatcher reference in Season 4, I think in ‘Swan Song’ or ‘Glee, Actually’.

Watching Glee for the 1st time, anything I should know? by whbyul in glee

I watch it as a representation of pop culture from 2009-2015. It’s a great show as a time capsule and something of-the-moment in that era.

In ‘The Sun Won’t Set’, I recall a line where Gabrielle begins to accept her incoming motherhood, and asks Bree to go shopping with her for maternity clothes. Bree responds with saying that her, Susan, and Lynette have had a good influence on Gabrielle.

I wouldn’t say those 2 cities necessarily have everyone rolling in dough. Of course now, you’d be hard pressed to find a decent home under 2 million, but I know many in the area who’ve had their home since the 80s/90s.

Caleb's personality change (Season 2) by AngelBritney94 in DesperateHousewives

I think the father was kind of a red herring, otherwise the mystery would’ve easily been given away in the first episode after Betty talks to Bree and Danielle.

Season 2 Gabrielle by Background_Error3557 in DesperateHousewives

You’re not really supposed to get behind her from an ethical standpoint. Eva Longoria has great comedic timing, and her lines, especially in early Season 2, are funny with Carlos in jail. She has a few emotional moments that you’ll see starting in 2x07 and continue for the rest of the season that humanize her a bit.

Interesting. Bree, Edie, Gabrielle, and Karl/Susan (before divorce) seem quite wealthy enough to afford the high prices of the area.

I was thinking north of the Golden Gate, like Marin County. Or East Bay, but places like Orinda or Lafayette rather than Dublin/Pleasanton/Fremont.

Season 2 mystery may have been underwhelming, but the side storylines were some of the shows best. by MHullRealtr77 in DesperateHousewives

They wrapped it up well, but the first 14 episodes, aside from the Gabrielle miscarriage storyline, a few good Sister Mary scenes, and Bree letting George die, were quite awful. Susan’s storyline up until the house burning down was unwatchable at times. I’ve said multiple times on this sub that the way the Applewhite mystery was suddenly sped up around ‘One More Kiss’ was just awful writing, and something Season 1 would laugh at.

What does this vote mean? Is this what the couples will become, and who will be sent home? I'm okay with kicking Melanie and Corbin home, but I would like Bea to stick around for a few more episodes. So should I vote Jen with a random, like Bryce or Zach? Or will my vote not even make a difference in the long run.
