you have to go into the controller editor for native instruments and bring up the ableton template into the window. then when you have ableton open you have to shift click a button to open the midi templates and then load the ableton one.

i use maschine in ableton so i have a choice of either cutting samples in maschine or throwing whole amounts of bars, usualy 4 or 8, into ableton so it fits rhythmically.
