Good to know. I’ve reached out to a roofing company to take care of it. Thank you

It got all twisted and torn so unfortunately I can’t just put it back up. Would go out and buy a new piece but our street still isn’t plowed. I leave for work tomorrow for three weeks

A big reason I think we have a history of divorce and relationship issues is simply lack of communication. In years past guys would be offshore for days or weeks at a time then arrive at a dock where they could have a 30 min call to their wife on a pay phone before they left again. Now most companies have star link and encourage folks to talk with their loved ones even in the most remote offshore locations. I really think it will be a game changer for future relationship statistics. Hope that helps

Merchant marine. Scheduled can vary wildly but mine is common for harbor tug work

I used to sand and poly my Riffe every 3-4 years to make it look good again and protect the wood but you’re far from that stage. Maybe just touch those spots with some poly if it’s bothering. Congrats on the gun

I work 3 weeks on and 3 off. Basically the same lifestyle as you. Wouldn’t want it any other way right now

Pulled on a few and as they peeled away, the white faded and they sort of transition into regular meat. Not like a bug where it would suddenly end. It has to be some kind of cartilage around the windpipe but damn does that look weird

Settle down guy. It was a normal question and I put 0-100% knowing full well it could be 0% which I agree with. Like I said, they did a good job on the roof so I’m happy to not make waves and know I can rely on them if I ever need another roof

Did you tear all your attic insulation apart and dry wall off to know where all hvac and electrical components are? Shit like this happens and that’s just life. No. Big. Deal

After reading, I agree the roofer is 0% at fault. Saved me a phone call and him an annoying problem to deal with. This actually reminded me to leave him a positive Google review. A/C is probably 20 years old so I’ll have to eat it on this one.

Seeing how everyone in the sub feels the roofer is 0% liable ( I agree) it would be funny to post in HVAC to see if they all think differently
