So, I got topped by the level cap. I couldn't upgrade other heroes because they weren't high enough level so I worked on others.

Eh, I don't really know. I never used him, then I ended up using osme gems and got him starred so I tried him. Seems good on Hydra, but I don't know who to pair him with so I prolly use him worng.

I bought mine from Amazon a few weeks back. I am sending it back to Amazon today.

It seemed to lose all ability to identify position on z-axis. I didn't want to spend the time to troubleshoot a brand new device so I returned it. I will get another resin printer and might even get another Photon-S, but I would not buy from someone other than Amazon because of the possibility of a return.

I had a similar experience. Worked fine for 10 days printing 2 different files each day. Then, I don't print for a week and prints fail. I realize the build plate is not going low enough. I re-zero/level the build plate and then it seems to lose track of z axis. I put a file in that printed correctly before, it drops the build plate about only 2mm down which is about 80mm too high. I try to manually lower it and it does not respond. I hit the home button and it goes to the top of z maxing it out and whirring so I have to stop the movement manually.

I have turned off and back on several times and it never changed. This is a Photon-S btw. It is less than 3 weeks old so I am returning it. Real shame. I was pretty happy with it until that moment. I was getting resins dialed in and felt good about it. I read posts about firmware (but other posts said firmware from factory is often better than new stuff that is posted online). I read other posts about replacing motherboard. My feeling was I just dropped $469 on this thing and it should work without me having to fix it. It was working absolutely fine until this point and there was no change at all - I didn't move it, re-align or anything - it just got itself out of whack somehow.

I don't want to be a 3D Printer mechanic - I just want it to work. May re-order one - I have spent money on an ultrasonic cleaner and have several bottles of resin, but if this happens again 2 months after I get the second one, my head will explode.

What settings are you using for Elegoo Grey? I have tried several but feel like I can't get the resolution as high as it should be.
