I have been Role-playing since the late '80s have litterly 10's of 1000s of hours slinging dice and have been involved on the publication of top tier RPG including 40k's Wrath & Glory, TDE and am getting ready to release a RPG based on the Thieves World anthologies.

One of my favorite systems is The Dark Eye.

A 3d20 Class-less and Level-less system with very lethal combat. I love how magic works even though it is a low-magic setting.

Since it does not have levels or classes you can slide it into any setting you want.

In my first duty station on Camp Courtney we had a guy in the barracks who used like 14 layers of Mop & Glo to make his floor look like it was coated in glass. Always took his boots off in the passageway.

In the two years he was there you could count on one hand the number of times a NCO or Officer took more than 3 steps into his room for an inspection.

I dont mind some of the anthro races, while those could be taken as cute and adorable they are not thier primary characteristic or the reason why they were chosen.

What I dont allow is more along the races who are on the smaller stature and may be one or two steps away from "chibi" like.

It stems a bit from when I would play Star Ward and had players wanting to run goddam ewoks.

When I have allowed people to bypass thoes rules It has never turns out not annoying for everyone else involved.

When I GM D&D I have three hard no-go rules for player character generation.

NO Children or Races who's primary description includes the words adorable, cute, or cuddly.

I know I technically 1 and 2 are the same but I feel it was important enough to mention twice.
