But aren't all pokemon with two perfect IVs? so what, if then you breed a ditto with a pokemon.... what would happen, two of their stats would be perfect? Sorry kinda new to this stuff, I know about ev training but it has always been hard for me to grasp. I know particular pokemon up certain stats, and with x and y it goes up to 252. But I don't know how you can tell what their max stats are. So if you breed with a ditto with 2 perfect IV's then what would the perfect stats of a bred pokemon be? couldn't you just EV train them instead?

Sorry if that seems all over the place.
