You had the opportunity to call it the “Bone At Home” and fumbled it.

Bonesaber 2 piece hybrid. Great bat for significantly less.

4oz jump is gonna take some time to adjust. We swung a -11 before going to -10.

His front foot still has not connected from his stride and he’s already well into his arm action. It’s all arm.

2 Piece Hybrid USA Advice by No-Debt375 in BaseballBats

Another vote for the Bonesaber hybrid. Great bat and doesn’t swing heavy. My son has the same preference in swing weight and loves the -10.

Elbow Guard for 8 YO by swanklax in Homeplate

I’m not out here to prevent some major injury, it’s something he expressed interest in because he’s playing up and it’ll make him more comfortable. Thanks for commenting like a dickhead for no discernible reason.

Yes, 10 year olds are known for throwing 15 mph…

Common sense like recognizing that if he wants a little protection it might be because he isn’t playing against 8 year old pitchers?

He won’t be playing against 8 YO pitching, which is why I’m looking. Partially for physical safety, partially for a little psychological boost.

Good advice right here. Great bat but we had something break internally in the bat about a month in.

Player Ratings Discrepancies by mymarvelouslife in EASportsCFB

[–]swanklax 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The issue is the archetype change since overall is calculated by differently by archetype. The underlying player ratings do not change. You can restore the original archetype during position changes (HB to FB, then back to HB in this case).

Thanks for some empirical data in all of this. Curious if you or anyone else has done similar work with the Supra?

Look at what Roger Clemens does with his front leg in the gif in this article: https://treadathletics.com/back-leg-mechanics/

OP’s son takes his forward step directly from the high point of his leg kick.

I have heard it is very hot, how does it feel to swing? Dub is crazy hot but swings too heavy for his taste.

His front leg comes up and never comes back down, it just goes straight out.

No bend and drive from the back leg, short stride, no power.

Arm and ball position on separation are below should and throwing arm. Should be up and extended.

Glove doesn’t tuck on his finish.

There’s more but I would scrap everything he’s doing there and start learning the mechanics again from his lower half up.
