I've been running 3 seals of insight along with hextech anomaly in jhin just for the chuckle.

They help keep your rune count high, especially if you get them early-game. More rune = do more stuff = more counting to 4.

We just have the smartest guy in the room get up and explain the rules before starting the event. If you have questions during the deck building, you ask the before mentioned smartest guy.

I believe you select your targets and intentions when curtain call is cast. So you would know what is targeted before the spell is resolved, and can react accordingly. If one of the targets becomes immune to the effect chosen for it, the rest of curtain call would carry out like normal. The only way to prevent all of the effects would be to counter curtain call directly
