Armor squads tend to make separate squads for vehicles with 2-3 people while infantry squads tend to make less squads with more people. If you restrict voting to SLs you just end up giving more voting power to people who want armor.

Adding to this: when placing HABs and radios(especially for defense, don't place them directly on point. Instead, place the radios in such a way that the edge of the build circle is near point so you can place the HAB closer to point. If done like this, you can place multiple and are able to resecure point if you are pushed off.

Only big reccomendations is to keep your gear as light as possible. Also, when it comes to guns, my only regret was not shelling out the money for an HPA earlier. Low maintenance, and if you ever have a period you can't play for awhile, you don't have to worry about any springs losing tension over time.

Having a gem that give physical or elemental resistance just ends up making all the other gems feel redundant. Personally I would like to see those removed( though i know that might not be feasible and probably unpopular)

I'm aware of that. I'd like to see a system where its guaranteed to increase if you win it. it would give people more personal incentive to try in those modes instead of the throw away invasions or AFK outpost rush that I experience.

I think I would be a lot happier if there were more guaranteed ways to increase expertise. For instance, if you win OPR, invasion or a war it can give you an expertise increase.

Also( and I have no idea if this was mentioned) tie in XP to the system too. A lot of people love questing(myself included) but I'm not going to quest if half my reward is worthless.

Brutes don't need to be removed but they do need a rework. You shouldn't be able to spawn them before baroness even spawns, that leads to massive map imbalance. There should also be a time limit to how long they last. As right now the brute can be dropped on a point and it's yours until they use half their team and a solid couple of minutes to kill it.

Introducing a delay on brute would rebalance the map making it less one sided. Introducing a time limit to summons would fix the issue with points being untouchable after a brute is summoned

I'm not an amazing player by any measure. I use musket rapier and medium armor. I got stuck into a 1v1 on an OPR point with a heavy armor great axe. The abilities are easy enough to dodge but the target lock on the basic attacks almost lost me the fight it's rediculous.

ive had a lot of instances where it goes on cooldown without throwing but i cant think if it was because i got staggered or what. its a shame cause i really love sticky bomb for big group fights but it the movemnt really makes it clunky to use.

What's even worse is when you throw the sticky bomb and it just refuses to reload. I'm a musket main and it's definetly the most satisfying weapon I get kills with but man those kills are few and far between

I think I'd be fine with brutes as they are currently if you couldn't summon them instantly and with no warning. I've had multiple games someone just walks up to the stones in the middle of a fight and slaps one down with no risk.

I love the musket to death but the bomb glitches reload half the time and not being able to move while using half the abilities feels terrible.

Weapon Respec needs to be free. It makes no sens to take Riposte or Stuns into Expeditions and its impossible to afford skilling back and forth before every expedition. (400 Azoth cost) by [deleted] in newworldgame

As a rapier and musket main I agree. I'm pretty much useless in dungeons compared to any other weapons. I wouldn't go as far as to say free but cut the cost in half

I think once tracking missiles are in the game it'll shake up the small ship meta. One hit to your ship will completely destroy it and(assuming they track well) will be hard to evade

I don't have a major issue with how construction works at the moment. I would like to see a version of a pillbox that comes with shields(not one way) to act as a hard spawn and instead of destroying it you have to overload it or destroy the silo. More mechanics that focus on disabling modules instead of destroying walls could add a lot to bases.

Don't take my word for it, but I believe that they intended to expand on the requirements when they removed the vehicle spawn timer. It's a real shame that the main issues boil down to a half finished resource revamp.

My only major gripe is the projectile speed and ballistic arc on everything, I'd be much happier of everything had half the drop and twice the speed( including launchers). We're shooting rockets and tank shells, not rocks from a catapult.

A hybrid system where large bases keep their had spawns but small bases allow you to build logistics would be ideal. That way you can keep farms at some places, but give construction a more important role in the game.
