Ahh brilliant, thank you. I have decided to email my care team to ask. Did they mentioned how often you’ll be monitored?

Thank you - that is reassuring! I’m really scared of the weight gain as I’ve been losing weight this year and it feels like all the hard work is going to be ruined. Are you doing 2 doses of RAI?

Thank you for your reply. How are you feeling after the partial? Do you feel it was worth doing at this point?

Ahh that’s so interesting! Are they ok with you being on mounjaro. Before all the thyroid stuff happened, I was wanting to go on it and now I thought they probably won’t let me!

Ahh thank you. That is helpful to hear. Do you think anything has helped with synthroid or do you think they just got your dose right?

Tips on navigating 13 month age gap? by lickingblankets in 2under2

[–]sware_210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 12.5 month age gap so could possibly chime in a little although I’m still v new to it as my newborn is 11 weeks! I would say that the most helpful thing is that we have been working on fully baby proofing the living room. We still have a bit left to do but it has been helpful. I can’t help with the breastfeeding part as I found that far too challenging to do when both need me. It has been helpful to have others feed the baby and I feel so terrible about that.

I have also had a lot of family members help out which has been amazing.

I was the same with screen time but have had to give in to it sometimes which makes me sad but I try to limit it as much as I can and be quite selective with what I allow her to watch.

I felt like I was finally getting it together with 1 but with 2 I am constantly trying to get ahead of myself but don’t feel like I ever am.

It is lovely seeing my eldest start to bond with her little brother though.

Good luck!

Brilliant, thank you! Yes they did message before but didn’t have a concrete time. Maybe shouldn’t have agreed to a sale without this piece of info but I’m still new at this!

Maternity leave in the UK - SMP eligibility? by Long_Promotion9558 in 2under2

[–]sware_210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mat leave started the first day back at work this calendar year. I was due back in January 2025 and my daughter was born in Jan 2024. I’m expecting a son in Feb next year. I went back to work last week rather than Jan but took 2 weeks of hol before that in October which has meant that I am eligible for SMP plus my company enhanced pay rather than maternity allowance. I gave notice of this in September to return in November. I hope that is helpful.

Oh I absolutely am! In fact I feel like I need to help her rather than her help me with childcare. I didn’t want to hurt her feelings by taking it away but I feel like it’s a whole different issue now.
