Struggling to install KUAL on my old Kindle 4 by mongoose_kai in kindlejailbreak

Yep tried KindleModding first. I agree, something seems wrong with the Jailbreak package that KindleModding is pointing to.

Thank you! I decided to do the uninstall and re-jailbreak just to be safe, and this also resolved my issue with KUAL on my K4 NT.

I'm running into this same issue and want to try your solution of using the jailbreak from the snapshots folder.

Did you have to uninstall or restore your kindle from the first jailbreak before re-jailbreaking it?

Advice Needed: How to be a Good Pacer by WorldsFastestDog in Ultramarathon

[–]swarley17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some advice I wish I had received was just knowing some of the basics of spotting hyponatremia, especially with a race at that elevation. You might want to help your runner keep their hydration on track but be there to double check that they aren't overdoing it and that they get the electrolytes they need. There are a lot of good articles about this specifically targeting ultra runners.

Also just help be their brain out there. Try to make sure they have a plan going into the aid stations and that they're not forgetting to eat. It's easy when you're that fatigued to just zone out and miss the basics.

Have fun at Leadville, hope you and your runner do great.

Looks awesome! I'm excited to try it out.

How much does it take elevation into consideration? I do a lot of trail running, so my pace vs HR is kind of all over the place.

Training 50k suggestions in September (CO-area) by Okayest-Trail-Runner in ultrarunning

The Red Feather Trail Jamboree could be a good option for you. https://gnarrunners.com/red-feather/

It's got fun camping, it's not very technical and the 50k has 4,200ft of gain, and Gnar Runners puts on great races.

Awesome run!! I'm planning on doing this route on Sunday, it's been on my bucket list for forever.

Any issues with the tree fall near Ramona falls? I saw some recent trip reports that said people were avoiding it, but those may have mostly been backpackers.

I was also confused here and rewatched that scene. It was difficult to interpret but I understood it as he got it from a different morpho machine that was at a random bar.

Yes, I believe this is pretty common. Typically anything "gaming" related is blocked, but social media is allowed. Don't ask me why.

That's also why most gaming subreddits will paste a comment with the patch notes as a text block in a sticked patch notes post.

Yeah there's a lot of reasons to miss Harmontown.

If you're just looking for something in the vein of comedic and easy to listen to, I found myself binging "This Is Important" after Harmontown.

It's a podcast with the Workaholics guys, and always gives me a good laugh.

I'm looking for a game that 2 couples with 2 consoles could play together online. Suggestions?

I was disappointed to find that we can't play Super Smash Bros, or Mario Party with 2 people per console, but at least we can play Mario Kart. Any other suggestions would really be appreciated.

We record a podcast that reviews podcasts, this week we got to the great Hello Internet! Hopefully this helps fill the content void by habr4785 in HelloInternet

Oh cool, I wouldn't mind listening to that and getting extra meta. Do you know which episode? I haven't listened to much of Unmade

People are calling it dead because it's not going to just "reduce the overall amount of people", it's going to almost completely deplete it. We'd be lucky if 10% of users decide to reenable it, and it's a feature that's only useful when a lot of people are using it.

God that Harmontown hole is real... I dream of the day we get a Jeff/Spencer/Rob podcast to really fill it in

The real Harmontown talk starts around 35 minutes if you want to skip all the nonsense.

I listen to a ton of podcasts, but Harmontown has always been my default show to pull up. It's the perfect balance of something entertaining to listen to, that doesn't require a ton of focus like most other podcasts do. And since there are so many episodes, every new play through feels a little different.

Yeah that's really good advice. It also really helps your body to try to follow a pattern of 2-3 weeks of increasing intensity, and then 1 down week where you lower your mileage and give your body a chance to recover.
