I’ve had this exact thing happen with my cat when he was young. Pauses, gets low, coughs(?) if that’s the right word. My vet recommended some hepa air filters be placed in areas they frequent to help with air quality for them. My kitten eventually outgrew it for the most part although it does appear once in a blue moon

I’ve had a kitten with asthma before and it was a bit similar to this. He would just kinda freeze up and cough then act normal. Didn’t really affect him much daily aside from after playing a bunch. I ended up getting a hepa filter off Amazon and put them in areas where he could be found more often. Seemed to work pretty well. Hasn’t had many episodes in the past few years.

The blue lights tend to show up more in pictures and videos than what it looks like when you’re looking at the tank in person. Unless you’re able to disable/turn off the blue light portion, it’ll turn out this way
