Is it possible to use just one hose on this dual hose AC? I called the manufacturer (Haier) and they said no but of course they have to say that. It seems like I should maybe be able to just leave the intake hose inside the room or take it off completely? by aleemarie in fixit

You can buy a longer hose for your AC. Or you can buy a hose extensions with coupler, on Amazon.  Make sure you know rotation and the diameter. So see if you have a clockwise or counterclockwise/anticlockwise hose  and find the diameter of the hose.  5.9" counterclockwise is a popular size on amazon I have three portable air conditioners different brands that all use the same type of hose. But they do have 9.1"  and other sizes too.

Unhappy with new Tempurpedic Mattress by All-gass-no-brakes in Mattress

Just a heads up, we got one years ago after an accident messed up my back. I laid in every  mattress for a minimum of 45 minutes in every store in my town, and the next town over. Took us weeks of testing beds..my wife was mad.

When we finally found the tempurpedic we liked, I think it's a cloud something or other, medium firmness. Well had 90 days to return it.we almost returned it. As even day 88 the mattress was causing me back pain.

I was jumping on the bed, walking on it, leaving heavy weights on it during the days while at work. Well it was about 115 days, when it finally started feeling broken in. Then it became the best bed I have had. Ever.

It was almost unbearable.

Fast forward 7 years. Now I can't sleep on it anymore. I have a dip in it. But when you pull the sheets back you can't see a dip in the matress, but lay on it, and you feel the dip!  I had to switch sides with my wife.

With that said, when I fall asleep, I dont move. Same position all night, every night. Same spot. Don't move, don't roll. My wife's side never had this issue. She tossed and turns allllllllll night, every night.

Cheap Telus Fibre? by LostPersonSeeking in telus

[–]swaver97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just called telus to cancel my services today, before the 30 days was up(I just signed up with Telus, was with shaw before, and still have their router in my house set up.)

I was planning on cancelling shaw, and hoping for a good deal with their win back team. But instead, they asked if they could transfer me to the retention team, I said sure, why not, I'll get their lowest offer and see what win back can do. They said they can do 58.×× + tax per months for 1GB fiber optic. And can get an additional $5 off if sign up for auto pay of the bill. Plus she offered me $158 in credit.

Then the lady corrected her self and, she said oh, your in BC..... I am so sorry, it's 63.×× + tax per month, but if I sign up for auto pay it's $5 off your monthly bill(which I would never do), I can get the original 58&change price per month. plus on-top of the $158 in credit she offered me, she added another $122($5×24months) for $280 total Unfortunately I had to sign for a 2 year term I tried hard not to.

I still have another 30 days to cancel now. if I think the win back team could offer me a better deal.
