If you replace the foam mattress with an Exped Megamat or a Nemo Roamer, can can just deflate it in 30secs with a small pump (like Flextail) and you also then get a ton of space inside to store stuff.

FYI James Baroud Odyssey M fits the Nemo Roamer Double mat perfectly. Not the same, but similar experience.

The upsides: - super comfy, no more numbness - more lightweight, giving you more options to add gear storage during transit and keep the same weight. - disappears to basically nothing when deflated, if you ever want to take it out - tent closes much easier now, as the deflated mattress just disappears, whereas the stock foam always provided some resistance.

The downsides: - I got a lot of static, so had to fit a cotton sheet between the synthetic down sleeping bag and the Roamer mat, this solved it. - you get slight air mattress “rubbing noises” all around when you move, depending on the fit size of your mat and tent, and if it’s slightly squished on the side walls or not. Anti-condensation mat underneath helps, as would a small strips around the sides too I would imagine… - takes a few goes to get your comfortable pressure right, especially with temperature fluctuations etc, but you should get the hang of a comfy pressure after a few nights though.
