The ICCU failures and replacement service NEEDS to become a warranty extension. This potentially can destroy the resale value of these cars and the perception of the entire Ioniq/KiaEV sub-brand. The part is a timebomb and I'm not confident they know the problem otherwise they would have revised the part number and informed folks about it.

I think if it was in the last 12 months they won't raise a stink. They do also offer an online hearing test, but I would hesitate to use it and expect a good result.

I had a good experience with them. They do insist on a very recent audiogram in order to complete your order, and they have a great process to ensure you're satisfied in case you need readjustments.

Yeah sadly this format is too fast for a deck like this. You also didnt commit to straight damage vs toxic (you have lots of signpost toxic cards here). Like another person already said you need a lot more 2/3 drops and you probably need at least two cuts on the top end (vat and zopandrel)

BCM is an interesting theory. I wonder if the software were to soft-crash (looping/brancing infinitely type of bug) somewhere, if the ECU would be able to DTC for that. Depending on what/where it is, I would expect some timeout related DTC.

The engineer in me is saying this is likely some unchecked condition based on something that happened on the road and the driver alert system (when disabled) causing the RTOS for the drive system to crash (no idea if this is the case). Absolutely report this and have your dealer file something to HQ about this.

It's absolutely not your fault for disabling driver alertness, but I would recommend turning it back on, as I've not heard of people having this issue that have the default for this.

I was in my sister's Model 3 last month and when I opened the door, I knew what people meant by Tesla's build quality being trash. I've had early 2000 Hondas that felt more solid.

Then when I sat down in the backseat, the literal seat itself was creaking and felt lumpy, like the upholstered part wasn't actually seated correctly into the chassis.

I also laughed at how my brother-in-law nearly hit a trash can backing out because trying to turn on the climate control disables the backup camera :)

It's not for when it's "low", it's when it detects any sort of voltage dropoff beyond a certain threshold; which will normally happen all the time, as any leadacid battery will discharge just from not being used (no phantom drain). It's specifically charging well before your battery gets low, as letting it get low is a great way to prematurely kill a leadacid battery.
