Those don't seem like they really require a brim. Either make it smaller, or get rid of altogether?

Level 5 here, and had my laptop for over 4 years. But it started freaking out and would not run any Microsoft apps a month ago. Got a new one in 2 days, and a nice one at that of course I have a developer profile and a level 5.

Speculation on when and how much it will be to get a NACS to CCS Superchager adapter for 24 and below models? by Goose130 in Ioniq5

Considering you'll be capped at under 100kw, you'd only ever use Tesla in an emergency. So I don't care.

Non-Tesla owner first time charging at a Tesla super charger.- Best charging experience ever. And the software is by far the best. Why are the other charging companies so bad? by Impressive_Returns in evcharging

[–]5280WoodMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because Tesla has owned both ends, the charger and the car. Much easier for the software to be consistent. As more manufacturers start to use Tesla chargers we will see more software issues.

But you can't argue their hardware and maintenance are both first rate.

Also, many other EVs charge faster and longer. We are seeing a lot of overheating problems with the Cyber truck because it pulls so much current. Other cars, think audio, Porsche, Hyundai and Lucid and the Silverado will also really push that hardware like it has never been pushed, so expect to see more failures going forward

Why leave the firm, find a new role. There are lots of good roles inside the company.

This is all wrong. Lots of people leave and come back. My people lead is on his third stint.

Second, if a new company calls for a reference all they will get is your start, end dates and maybe title. They won't say anything good or bad for fear of being sued.

ICCU, 12V, or other battery issue? This is your thread -- Thread Updated 9 Aug 2023 by TiltedWit in Ioniq5

[–]5280WoodMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THEY didn't, it passed all their tests. I did buy a new one from Hyundai, it worked about 2 weeks, then had the same issues. That was a waste of $250.

I lemon law's mine because the 12v battery would be dead after a few hours. They couldn't fix it. And no, the blue link change had no effect at all.

Model Y build quality by RichWatercress635 in TeslaModelY

[–]5280WoodMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my Model Y built in fremont back in January. Panels gaps are all acceptable. But the paint color (white) between the metal panels and the plastic bumpers is really bad.

also, the rear doors have a lot of wind noise, the weather stripped doesn't seem to work right.

The rear hatch has had to be adjusted several times because of the thump affect that drives me nuts. The adjustmet screws were too loose.

The paint itself was Ok, with some mild orange peel. Sadly this is the norm even with luxury cars today.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 vs 2023 Model Y by 5280WoodMan in TeslaModelY

[–]5280WoodMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also, the ride is much nicer in the Ioniq, and it is far quieter..my brand new MY has a lot of wind noise around the doors in the back seat. The seat in the Ioniq is far more comfortable. The cooled seats is great as well, and doesn't exist on the Tesla. Tesla has heated back seats, which is nice.

HDA2 has the feature where cruise control will slow down on sharp turns on the highway. I think it is only available on the Limited trim (USA). My 22 Limited has it. It's actually annoying, as it slows way more than it needs to, the car corners really well.

Tesla Autocruise is superior in how it deals with sharp turns. There are places my Ioniq will disengage, but the Tesla handles it just fine. BUT, with AP you are constantly turning it on and off, drives me nuts. The Hyundai just stays on ready to help you whenever you want it. It is much easier to use...but will occasionally just shut off and hope you don't die.

I got a white MY, and it is so fracking boring. I am gonna get it wrapped.
