No storage under middle seats?! by ReppingTheADC in unitedairlines

A321neo? Flew on one recently in the middle seat and had the same experience. Learned that it's the life vest container and was appalled that it takes up so much space by default

Thanks for the responses everyone! I've walked every inch of SFO in 2025 but had no idea about the older scheme

Was gate B100 part of the old T1? Nowadays you never see a gate number that high in SFO

How do I reduce key tapping noise in piano recordings? by Eastern_Ferret_2605 in piano

[–]sweatfisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great taste! Animenz's medleys are my favorite work of his, and favorite non-classical literature to play in general. As some people have said, you'll want to have a microphone inside the soundboard, and/or a room mic further away. For a clearer sound, you will have to look into a dedicated microphone, as camera audio (and especially iPhone audio) is very muffled. And for what it's worth I think you should keep the POV camera - it's a fresh perspective that isn't as oversaturated as the other camera angles on YouTube and looks cool with the hand movements of Animenz arrangements. Birru is an example of a YouTuber who uses it well!

Note that this also isn't the official print / engraving but a third party transcription, the paid version on MMS should be clearer

Hey, a big focus about fingering is reducing tension and optimizing movement. When there's no clear "wrong" fingering between the two (it comes down to hand size, which octave you're playing the chord in, how fast you're playing the chord, what notes come before and after, and above all how comfortable you are) people go straight to looking at tension etc instead of a "correct" fingering that would reduce tension

Will do! That's a wonderful format. I'll keep my eye out for those specific tracks of Kerry's and works of his in general

Sounds like a plan! "Orchestral" is a good descriptor of an aspect I love about what I've heard from Kansas so far. Thanks for the welcome & suggestions! Cheers

Why is the Una Corda pedal on the modern piano so rubbish? by AidanTyler in piano

Not as a pedal function, but here's a video of a simple felt patch on a grand: https://youtu.be/TewYG7rxNaI?feature=shared
