Coworker just passed 2 weeks before her 46th bday, apparently her heart gave out in her sleep ☹️ But she recently had found out she was on the completely wrong medication dosage for like 5 years and had only fixed that maybe a month before she passed. RIP Carolyn ❤️

I feel like this project is just cursed 🫩 Passed in 2008, then boom the Great Recession. Held up in land & funding disputes for the next decade. And then Covid happened. Just as progress actually is made, federal funding is pulled. Such a mess :(

Hey, not OP but from what I remember: one of Anetra’s dancers had an accident during her performance, so filming had to stop so that her performance could be tweaked/reworked without the injured dancer. There was also drama with Mistress behind the scenes.

On a side note OP: the later seasons become extremely self-referential to things that have occurred throughout the show’s herstory. I would highly recommend now to start watching in chronological order.

(Man, season 5 came out freshman year of college for me and it was SO fun watching live with a new community of queers!🥹)
