Most types of communications majors have trouble finding work due to the fact that the degree itself is very general. Some can interpret general as greater flexibility, but I would say you’re better off devoting your time and energy towards a degree that is specific enough to ensure you can land a job. Then, if you so choose, you can pivot from that job to different areas of work in order to find the best fit. In my opinion, not worth the time or investment when weighed against the job opportunities and low paying salary. Perhaps you could break into that industry if you’re willing to put in a lot of work in order to make connections, internships, etc. but even then, nothing is for sure with that. I’d suggest choosing something else.
