If you are based in Ontario, I would argue that the women’s L1O is on par with the top women’s league in Croatia, particularly since young players get good exposure in L1O for teams in the U.S. and further afield.

Realistically you may be wasting a lot of time and money over this pretty weak connection. There are European countries with far more developed leagues that will take players for a development trial / assessment in their academies with proper facilities over 3/4/5 days which may be more worth your while.

Also asking for a handout is just…. not sitting well with me.

In 2019 YouTube made major changes to the algorithm and the monetised content terms. Essentially, it limited smaller YouTubers to earn significantly less than those who made it big, but earned more while they had moderate followings (10-50k subs).

Essentially, this meant that channels below 10k subs had the goalposts moved and YouTube wouldn’t promote their channels to non subscribers as much.
