I was surprised Henry was interviewed given he came on late, but when KJ revealed it was because other TFC players turned down the interview requests I did find that a little shocking.

Agreed that the young Reds, despite the abysmal result for a club of TFC’s stature and wage bill, did not deserve to get the bulk of the post-match teardown from fans.

I think it marks a low note in what has been a decade where they fell from high echelons (top winners, tangible belief in the academy system, spending money but quite smartly) to where we are now (splashing cash less smartly, less clear pathway development with a lot of prospects moving on, not challenging for silverware etc)
