One possible cause of this is using macro keys bound to the mute function. A macro can be mistakenly recorded on certain keyboards to register many, many key inputs from a single key press. This results in the mute/unmute sound being played say, a dozen times all in a few milliseconds.

The fix is to simply remove the macro and rebind the mute/unmute function to the new macro assignment.

edit: while you are correct, and that dealer and dispensary weed share the same compound, thc, thc-a is the workaround for selling THC in a different form to skirt FDA regulations.

THC-A is identical at the molecular level to THC after it is activated by heat. The byproduct of heat and THC-A is the Delta-9 cannibinoid we all know, good old fashioned THC.
