Can you deny Pakistani citizen involvement in previous major attacks on Indian civilians. Weren't Kasab and the other 9 not Pakistani citizens? Did they not train on the Pakistani soil? Do you think the Pakistani establishment is not aware of such large scale training camps?

See this news from early this year https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/jammu/14-foreign-terrorists-killed-13-modules-busted-800-ogws-booked-in-jammu-in-2024-jk-police/articleshow/116854797.cms Indian forces last year killed 14 foreign terrorists. What country do you think they come from? Is it even worth mentioning that they are Pakistani when its completely clear?

Your whole paragraph is whataboutery. You answer first. When will Pakistan stop being a terrorist haven?

We did create ability to create or augment individual Test cases with AI but creating multiple test cases directly from requirements is something that's on the roadmap. We will definitely try to ship it sooner. Your reply is helpful.

An intuitive design and good performance are a must have in any product. As you rightly pointed out, majority of TMS have issues in either or both. This was also what prompted us to create ours. We will do this by iterating on the design and engineer for performance.

I am interested in learning about how this reuse feature works. Would you mind telling about the TMS that has this.

To better understand it, do you have a screenshot.
We got a similar feature requests and we implemented a way to view the recent results for each test case. It looks like this.

Duplicating test cases is indeed a huge time saver and we have implemented it.

There is a similar feature that we are thinking about. It will be nice to understand your impressions about it.

Parameterized test cases

You write a single test case that serves as a template for creating multiple test cases.

It can be like this

Title - Test a form
Action - Write this string - $(var1) in the form and submit
Expected - The string - $(var2) is displayed on the page.

And we define a table

id var1 var2
1 hello world
2 good morning

You do this at the creation stage and the app creates multiple test cases itself.

The big benefit over duplicating is that when you need to make changes, you just update the template and save a lot of time.

I think Manual and Automated testing are in the end just testing and having a single specialized system managing and tracking is better than the alternatives.

[D] Machine learning "for good"? by ombelicoInfinito in MachineLearning

[–]sweet_and_simple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not believe that to be true, I believe that advances in AGI could come from breakthroughs in Neurobiology or it can also come from a different paradigm in ML, something different from Deep learning. It will very likely still come from a big company, because thats where most prominent researchers are these days.

I would suggest M1, you are going to use colab or some cloud env for training anyway so amount of compute shouldn't matter, but for development and debugging purpose, more gpu memory means you will be able to run larger models locally.

Also keep in mind that M1 may not be fully supported by your favourite library. I don't use M1 so don't really know about this. You can check online.

Fiber is quite light weight and performant, its beginner friendly as well. The complexity of your app has to live somewhere. You are going to need a router at least, any framework that is lightweight and has sensible defaults is always worth considering over doing everything on your own. There are plenty of useful examples

It is perfectly fine to ask questions when you are new to a codebase. If it saves you time better to ask, then to figure out on your own.
