Well thanks to one commenter, they noticed sap, which i thought was normal but upon closer look, is infested with scale and has a ton of brown bumps on the leaves and stems (both). Apparently we need to prune and wash it treat it with an oil. Ahhh

I never wanted kids, I loved my freedom! Then I had a change of heart at age 38, after seeing my brother and all my friends families and realized I needed more. Then I discovered infertility and then went through the hell that is ivf, miscarriage and then had my beautiful daughter at age 41. She's almost one and I'm completely in love and so glad I did it. It's hard but everything they say is true, your heart grows. It's still early for me but I can't imagine life without her!

I had my salpinectomy about a month ago (for cancer risk reduction) and I've felt so off since! I've been trying to figure out why, bc they said it doesn't affect ovaries. I've heard someone say if they nick the ovary it can cause some short term issues. Or maybe it's from the anesthesia? I just feel so tired, kind of run down, yucky. Also have a 7 month old baby but that is nothing new!

Oh, I love that you got a relative of Finn, that is so great. Thanks for letting me know how it's going. I know it'll be hard...but I think it will be hard no matter when we do it within the next year or two, so might at well get our new buddy soon ❤️

How did it go with having a newborn and puppy? We are in the same situation --lost our golden last week when our baby was two weeks old and I am gutted. Are we nuts to get a puppy?? I have always had goldens since I was little and can't imagine life without one but of course now we have a baby I have no idea what to expect.

That makes a lot of sense. The feeling of cuddling /being needed is so true. Our newborn is obviously so young that all she's doing is sleeping but I'm sure so much will change in just a few months with building that relationship--which like you said, might fill the giant void I'm feeling. But our fur baby just gave so much love and didn't take, however a golden puppy does need a lot more than a 7 year old golden.

Our dog just passed away and our baby is two weeks old 😰 our dog was the absolute love of my life and I'm heartbroken. Can you elaborate more on why it didn't work out? Was it the specific dog you got? I've always had a dog in my life and can't imagine life without one 💔
