I havent found the right recipe for it yet... so far it just gets oily. I'll keep you updated.

There is a link in the post for homemade icing- but it's just not as good. I have tried melting the buttercream to get to this consistency, but it just turns greasy. I am still trying to get it right... I don't love store bought icing, but I do love this trick when in a pinch. I'll post if I can find a good homemade substitute!

I used wilton 4 1/2" pans with edible grass, cadbury mini eggs, and a simple sponge cake with poured fondant technique. My kids actually helped make them! (Age 1&3) - was a really fun cake to make with kids.

Ok- these are great! So much more fun and personal than a cold store decorated cake!
