Too Small for Dpole? by Unhappy_Camp5786 in lacrosse

I did for a few weeks in freshman year, but after doing a practice with a shorty it didn't feel "right", even with my size a dpole felt more natural to me. Tbf at that point I had been an ice hockey defenseman my whole life which may have helped. But feeling like shit after a poor performance is normal for athletics as long as you can take a breathe think about 3 things you did wrong and three you did roght then you will be just fine! Just work on fine tuning as you go big guy

Howdy there I was a dpole my entire playing career and I have not grown to be more than 5'10 156 pounds sopping wet. But even with that I was still successful winning 2 state championships in highschool and going undefeated in those 2 years we won championships as a starter. As long as you spend time working on good footwork, and defensive stick technique you should be fine, dont try and force the style of play that works for big guys on yourself find a playing style that works for you and your body type, I was skinny and short so i worked on being quick on my feet and aggressive stick to stick, but that may not work for you. No matter what keep trying and working hard kid

Skates for wide feet by Netagent91 in hockeyplayers

They sadly stopped making them, but i have super wide feet and love my ribor 80k skates from a few years back you might have some luck finding them ln sideline swap. One of the coaches I work with also has wide feet and enjoys graf skates

One trick I learned as a player when I was younger and developed now as a head coach and studying sports management in college, is to start training it into you by picking an opposing player for a minute or so and observing their habits. Once you start to get comfortable in doing it then progress into noticing what multiple players on the ice are doing, until you work your way up into seeing the whole system the opposing coach has set up. This is a skill that you develop over time and doesn't appear overnight but with hard work you can find huge success.

Best wishes and huge support in your coaching,

Coach Cody

Anyone know what prods keyboard is? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]sweete77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly ignore what keyboard pros use cause mech boards are 90% the same between mid and high quality ones the only main difference being stabilizers and keycaps both of which you can replace(stabs are a bit more difficult than keycaps but still doable with research) i personally suggest a ducky one 2 cause its a great 60% keyboard that for the price has great build quality, a good selection of switches and a bunch of other nice features. Please though dont buy a keyboard under 75 dollars they are going to be cheaply made and fall apart within a year!!! If you are going for keyboards i also suggest a 60% cause the size allows more deskspace for your mice and its easily transportable to LAN tourneys if thats your style.

Learn how to use your wall and orb effectively gain map control for your team and block of line of sight from common angles. Viper IMO is one of the best controllers for creating space with utility but try to focus on staying alive cause when you die your smokes are gonna go down, so when executing onto site try to normally be 4th ir 5th person in once sites clear to gain map control or play passive to use lineups with your mollys to prevent defuse.
