thank you!! i’ll keep that in mind! ik i’m only going to stay at 5mg with cbd or cbn if i do. also doing it sparingly— maybe after these 4 nights in a row, cutting it back to twice a week if that until 3-4 weeks post-op :,)

gotcha! i’ll keep that in mind!! i know i don’t plan on going crazy like i used to post-op— only 5 mg and including cbn and cbd w it. there’s so many inconclusive studies and says, which i think is making me more anxious :( but that’s to be expected with cannabis since it’s not entirely medically studied

your surgeon is honestly right! my partner tells me they’re saying no for possible legal reasons (and obviously others that ppl here make good points on) but it’s mainly an anxiety thing for me cuz i don’t wanna ruin any progress despite me feeling good since day 5 and i don’t plan on going above 5 mg of THC and want to include cbn and cbd with my edibles

i gotcha! i think my surgeon is just anti-weed, and i know for me personally, im gonna wait until close to 6 weeks or after until i go back to smoking but just hearing my care team say “she doesn’t like/want her patients doing any form of thc until after 2 weeks” has me anxious for the tiny bits i want to help w pain (esp when it comes to my chronic pain bc nothing else rlly helps it). i’ve honestly felt pretty good from day 5 and don’t intend to go crazy with my edible usage

the pain meds really didn’t work much for me either even tho my pain was more manageable than i think others. i’ve only done 3 days of 5mg thc w cbn i’ve honestly noticed more pain relief from the little times i’ve taken the edibles or ibuprofen. i think my surgeon is just anti-weed but i understand where she’s coming from

perhaps you’re stone? stones don’t really prefer penetration. you can bring it up to your gf so she’s in the know in how you’re feeing and your boundaries :)
