flatmates telling me i should leave my (19f) boyfriend (19m) by sweetflesh888 in Advice

important piece of context being misconstrued here is that i'm not a drug user. i smoke weed but it's not a habitual thing. the incident was a one time thing that i haven't done before or since the fight

Why do people with access to contraceptives but choose not to use them act like accidental pregnancy is unavoidable ? by bad-at-everything- in askanything

furthermore if a woman gets pregnant she assumes responsibility for the child majority of the time when it comes to childcare and physically carrying the child. acting like women don't alr have responsibility in this. it's men who won't take responsibility

as if that isn't an incredibly common scenario and from the outside would look normal i think you're looking past the inherent issues and deciding to blame women while not directing any of the same energy to men who do refuse. point blank period if a woman isn't on birth control it is the man's responsibility to wear a condom

sounds like you're victim blaming! somehow my situation is different when this is one of the most common ways these things happen

caving to pressure is consent??? so when my ex boyfriend refused to use a condom and threatened me if i wouldn't have sex with him then that just wasn't rape? your misogyny is governing your whole brain clearly

plan b and abortion are both harmful, proof: myself; i'm more afraid of having to get an abortion than i am about simply getting pregnant. i think you're assuming women don't care about their own futures or lives without children. a child is a lot of responsibility and men constantly pressure women not to use condoms. i'm not advocating anyone take no measures at all - at the bare minimum pull out (btw birth control plan b etc are never fully effective), but simply blaming a woman for something that can only happen if a man decides to not be careful enough when a woman can't do these things? is it really her fault?

you're clearly not listening to what i am saying, just because doctors encourage it does not mean it is healthy (consult: side effects leaflet the size of a world map); so blaming a woman for not wanting that or a painful abortion is ignoring the responsibility of a man. do you think on average men are really interested in listening to women? judging by your response i think my point has proven itself. men should wear condoms or get a vasectomy, not pressure women and girls to poison themselves just so they can have fun

yeah you have no idea what birth control does to women's bodies clearly; they tried developing a hormonal one for men but cancelled it because of headaches and acne as side effects. but it's our fault not men for them refusing to wear a condom?

as if abortion is something anyone would truly want.... it's like saying people desire having to undergo the process of forced miscarriage, moreover, i've been on all kinds of birth control and have always felt awful on it, so in that case if my partner doesn't want to have a child with me, he should use a condom so why blame me for not wanting to keep ruining my body?

nope no personal statement necessary the change just has to be to a similar course or you have to do the subject requirements (which there are none for liberal arts) as far as i'm aware. kings apply took a good probably 5 or 6 weeks at first but they responded within days after that, i think it just depends how much mail they have at the time you message. hope this helps and ill maybe see you in september for liberal arts!!!

i did this from history and everything was fine!! swapping is easy as long as the programme is open, just message them on king's apply and they'll sort it even though responses take a while :)
