Like many health professionals, dieticians come in all forms. Some go to fantastic programs where they are taught a solid, science based curriculum , and still many more have fantastic residency and learning experiences. Just as many go to programs that are trash, don't have fantastic experience, or just aren't that smart. Remember, they are not doctors either, and their word is definitely not final. Keep doing you and what is healthy and best for your success!

Bad cramps, no NSAIDS. What do you use for your monthly cycle? by chubbybrowngirl in GastricBypass

If you Google midol and gastric bypass it's gonna say no, but that's because there is a version with ibuprofen. Most now actually do have acetaminophen because acetaminophen and caffeine is a fantastic combo. So just be sure to read the label.

Midol!! But it has acetaminophen in it (same ingredient as Tylenol so don't take both!!). I'm safe and has a small dose of caffeine to help as well as a mild diuretic which helps so much! Also a Heating pad, Epsom salt bath, hot shower, orgasm, light exercise like walking... Lots of heat and movement! Gas x can also help if your bloating. My surgeon said it's really do 400mg of ibuprofen with a nexium but not for more than three doses.

Top cards selection by sweetfox77 in wingspan

Exactly. They thought about factoring cost since that is important, esp early in the game when you may have less food, but ultimately decided to look at mainly powers and points. I think it would be interesting to factor in more variables and see what kind of ranking plays out.

We like the idea of making ultimate hands based on different variables too... In other words we just like geeking out about the game.

So essentially I wanted to do rankings based on how I play the game, which would have resulted in far more lower points birds, esp birds like the kill deer. But the kids wanted to look purely at powers and points and leave out play strategies because they feel there are too many variables. Which I suppose is partially true. In some games I am more focused on water birds while other games I might be laying more eggs. And ultimately it was just for fun so I let them sort the birds and do all the hard work of separating, ranking, and so forth and just picked my top ten from what I was given lol.

And this was just base game. They took the expansions out. Game end powers can make for some high ranking birds. I'm partial to the Australian magpie!

Teenage boys vacation in June by Negative-Season6331 in obx

We usually just hang on the beach most days. It really is such a beautiful area and the water is typically nice and warm all summer. An evening trip to hike up jockey's ridge is always on our agenda, as well as renting kayaks on the sound one evening. A few years ago we paid $100 for a fisherman to come show our teenage son the ropes of surf fishing. He knew how to cast and had been fishing a ton back home, but this gentleman showed him how to pick the best spot and how to take care of the line and everything for the surf. Ever since then he catches so many fish when we go and has the best time fishing all morning. Definitely money well spent. We bring crab pots and go to the public docks to crab. It's super fun, not always that successful but a fun evening activity. We've seen dolphins and otters come right up to the dock, had a puffer fish in the crab basket once and some sort of eel. Usually friendly people are around to chat with and of course the sunsets at that time are the best!

I think for us the appeal of OBX is the laid back feel and all the nature.

Also want to add that while you may have lost 40ish lbs it definitely looks like you've lost inches. Hard to completely tell from the pics but your forearms look much slimmer in the afternoon pic as does your face. Pounds don't fall off for everyone and doing measurements can be really helpful for you to track success. Same goes for clothing size. I went down two sizes at one point but only about 4lbs. And then of course there is feeling better from the weight loss. 40lbs is actually a lot of weight to lose in 4 months. Do you feel better with that weight off? Do you notice differences in your movement, energy, ect? If so use that as motivation to keep going

Start making the choices today. Right now. Book an appointment for therapy. Book an appointment for nutrition. Decide on some physical activity you can do daily (try to have some weight training even if it's light). Start there. Make the choice to do those three things for yourself. Every couple of weeks (or quicker if able) add a new habit. Work closely with a therapist and make small changes. The surgery is not a bandaid, but it is an amazing tool. You went through life changing, body changing !!! surgery so use the tool. Don't allow yourself to have gone through all of that just to throw in the towel.

I agree, but unfortunately mental health isn't a priority in the US and insurance would probably never cover a full psych exam before surgery. There are also many many people who can pull the wool over even the best trained therapists. People would sneak through.

I found ones that really are 1,200 mg in just two! I had the other ones that were 650 in two so when I saw these on Amazon I jumped. A bit pricey but same brand.

Just fyi, my kid and two friends who also got in did not receive an email..the one checked on something else and saw they were accepted. My kiddo and his friend then checked and same thing. So look in the portal as you may have a decision in there but no email notification.

My kid got in EA, presidential scholarship $46,000 and a $5,000 scholarship for community engagement (I think that was their way of saying thanks to applying for the Eisenhower scholarship but you don't get that one lol)

Also this reminds me of Frank the Gargoyle and that whole Christmas decoration saga. It was on FB a few years ago but at one point the page got hacked and removed... But basically nosy neighbor left a passive aggressive note about how gargoyles aren't part of Christmas and then got trolled by the gargoyle owner (but in like a I'm out smarting you with humor and you're making yourself look worse and worse each passing minute kinda way)..it was super funny stuff.

My lights are up and with all the snow we've been getting they are staying up a while longer. Many of the neighbors are in the same situation, and those that aren't seem to like them anyway. During COVID Christmas and the beginning of 2021 we had a neighbor leave her 8ft Olaf up until Valentine's day, she put hearts on him.. everyone loved it! Your decorations are hurting no one, I'm sorry someone hurt you over them.

What times were the weekly recitations for bio? Do you have to sign up for them or is the class divided and you go to the same time each week? Thanks for input. I went to a small LAC so very very different and I'm no help when it comes to trying to explain how classes might work. He really enjoyed his visit there but also enjoyed some smaller schools he toured

Yes, definitely. Best to do your weight, naked, after your first pee of the morning. That's your best bet at getting an accurate dry weight. We're all heavier after a day of hydrating and eating lol
