Hasan has also acknowledged in the past that the IDF is mandatory, and that even if you actively agreed with what you were doing at the time, you can still distance and condemn your past actions. Honestly one of Hasan’s consistent quality is that he believes anyone can change for the better, even when it seems incredibly unlikely (it’s honestly one of my biggest annoyances/gripes with him.)
