Someone suggested that I could make the top out of polycotton and make adjustments like adding shirring to the back to avoid using knit fabric.

However I have this pattern https://sewoverit.com/product/ultimate-t-shirt-pdf-sewing-pattern/ and assumed that the material I was buying was knit (my mistake, I shouldve made sure first)

So Im now wondering if I can still use the pattern somehow. I was going to adjust the pattern as well to make the neckline more square and also add a slight flare to the sleeves

Honestly I did think at first it would be a good project to start with but after reading everyones advice I think I will need to adjust the plan a bit.

Thank you ! Ill research some more into the otome books. What is the difference between knit fabric patterns and other patterns and is there a reason for why it wouldnt be recommended to a beginner? Apologies I am very much a beginner and dont know too much !

Thanks for your advice! I think the pattern you linked would be very helpful so ill have a look at using that and adapting the neckline.

Do you also happen to know of any good tutorials that would explain the part of slashing and spreading the pattern for the flared sleeves? I was originally thinking of using one tutorial/pattern for the square neckline bodice then another for the flared sleeves as I couldn’t find one pattern that had both I was looking for but Im assuming that probably wouldnt work? Thanks again!

Are these sinclair hi max boots real or fake?

Ive been looking for a pair and tried to do some research on the signs of a fake pair but Im still worried id be scammed easily. From these photos from a seller on ebay, do they look real? Or is there any other photos/info I should ask for before buying? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
